Wendy Dolan

Wendy Dolan has a BEd Hons degree in Art and Textiles. Her original, stitched pictures and hangings are inspired by landscape, architecture and natural forms. Maps are incorporated into some of her designs, giving ‘a Sense of Place’. She combines techniques including fabric layering and painting with hand and machine stitching, creating richly textured surfaces. She is an experienced tutor and lecturer and is the author of the Search Press best selling book ‘Layer, Paint and Stitch’. Wendy welcomes commissions from both private and corporate clients.
