Sophie Cadogan designs and creates a range of women’s knitwear in natural yarns including pure Cotton, Cotton/Linen, Silk, Merino & Cashmere. She started her business, Cadogan Cardigans, in 2007 and sells her garments only at shows, direct to the public. Accessories are available in a few select galleries and on-line.
About
Working from her home studio, Sophie draws inspiration from the garden and surrounding countryside to create soft, flowing styles that drape and flatter the figure in a range of both muted shades and vibrant colours.
Knitting on a domestic knitting machine, Sophie often blends the yarn colours together to give unique shades. Designs are often finished with Beaded Details, Feature Seams, Tassels and come in a range of sizes & lengths.
Styles include Coil Cardigans in 4 lengths, Jaipur Jumpers and Tunics, Mantilla Shawls, Pure Cotton Lacy Scarves along with several other styles. All are designed, knitted and finished by Sophie herself.
