Upon completion of a five-year indentured apprenticeship in 1993 through the Goldsmiths Guild, Chris received a commendation for his final masterpiece.
Since then, Chris has designed and made numerous jewellery collections supplying shops and galleries throughout the world.
About
Chris utilizes the ‘Lost Wax’ process to realize his sculptural designs. Each piece is initially carved in wax, before being transformed into a timeless precious piece of jewellery.
The perfectly evolved forms of the natural world are a recurring theme. He also takes inspiration from the long history of jewellery making, giving traditional concepts an original contemporary twist. Chris designs and makes his own collections from a converting coach house in Brighton, and sometime also works to commission.
