Robert graduated from West Surrey College of Art & Design in Farnham, 1984. He has been running his pottery in both Neatham Mill where it all started and Selborne for the last 25 years. His work can be bought directly from Selborne Pottery or its website and in art galleries, museums and craft shops all over the UK.
Robert works in the pottery with a small team of assistants making hand thrown decorated domestic stoneware. The pottery continues to thrive with a new collection each year. His latest addition of Blue Fish (some with gold or platinum), has added free flowing brush stokes to compliment his existing collections. All Robert’s pieces are designed to be used every day and are dishwasher and microwave proof, except the precious lustres. The range includes many sizes of bowls from mini olives, to large fruit and salad bowls, teapots, mugs, serving dishes, vases, jugs and lamps. Private commissions and bespoke items from one offs to a complete dinner service can be made to order.
