David is a self-taught, self-employed lamp maker and woodworker in Hove, East Sussex. Using sustainably sourced hardwoods and wood veneers he crafts cosmically inspired sculptural lamps and lampshades, which have a focus on curves, spheres and circles.
About
David started making lampshades 10 years ago as a side-line to his core business as a furniture maker and carpenter. He has developed a range of specialist jigs, clamps and techniques to enable the construction of his lighting range – a unique ‘palette’ of creative processes.

David has a set range of designs to choose from but if you are looking for something unique, he will happily make it for you and welcomes individual commissions.
