Sandra Hardy

Sandra’s work consists of a wide range of styles including those for everyday wear as well as more decorative ones, often one-offs for more special occasions.  Her firm belief in the amazing potential of combining fabric and stitch has led her to using techniques such as textured pintucks, surface stitched decoration, and fabric piecing.

Inspiration for her work comes from an eclectic mix of sources both natural and man-made, such as exhibitions,  museums, books, travels and her home environment,  especially her garden and local walks.

Sandra’s overall aim has always been to create, quality, distinctive and wearable pieces that not only look good but also feel good to wear.

All her items are made to last using a quality 100% boiled wool fabric.
