Description
This ceramic angelfish is made from white clay pressed into a plaster mould much like a tile. I then make marks in the clay to give each fish a unique character. These marks are enhanced by colourful transparent glazes. The fish has decorative wire from which a tiny baby fish hangs and quivers pleasingly. A wire loop is fired into the clay so it can be hung on the wall easily.
The angelfish’s main body measures approximately 17 x 4cm with the wire additions adding a bit extra to this.
They are handmade so each one will have slight variations in colour and marking compared with the photograph but I will try to match it as a close as possible.
This ceramic fish will not survive a cold winter outside.
