Jewellery
Jinks designs and makes jewellery from her workshop by the Sussex Downs, creating one-off pieces for exhibitions and for private commissions. Jinks has been making jewellery for over 30 years; her designs are inspired by ancient cultures and Moghul empires and her work is distinguished by its confident use of precious metals and a stunning choice of colourful, tactile, and sometimes unusual, gemstones.
About
In addition to making jewellery, Jinks also runs, from her workshop, popular training courses throughout the year; she also has had several specialist jewellery-making books published. She is greatly enthused and influenced by her travels abroad, working with jewellery colleges and training students in Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Mexico and Burma.
