Jewellery
Sylvaine comes from Loire Valley in France, she focused on art and design subjects in school, before a-two-year traditional jewellery training. She graduated in 2009 from l’Ecole Tané (Brittany).
Originally from Poland, Marek comes from a family of goldsmiths and learnt his craft from his father. His passion for fine jewellery has just been growing stronger ever since.
Sylvaine and Marek launched Imaginarium Atelier in 2019. Partners in life and working alongside each other on their respective jewellery collections for the past 10 years, they share a workshop in Hove.
About
Imaginarium Atelier is a home for their respective collections and their collaborative projects. By joining forces and sharing a very different set of skills, Sylvaine and Marek are aiming to create elegant and bold designs that hold a subtle touch of magic.
Sylvaine is inspired by the smallest details that can be overlooked in nature, never without a sketchbook, she collects them like journals, each design appears to her first as a vision that she translates into 3D using silver and gold using traditional techniques such as engraving and wax carving. Sylvaine regularly works on bespoke pieces and especially enjoys translating someone’s story into unusual pieces . She developed a new concept called Jewel-Objects, it combines illustration and woodwork.
Marek has a passion for all things handmade and loves to experiment and consistently learn new skills. Specialising in stone-setting, he is always striving for perfection and drawn to new intricate setting techniques. His designs are mostly made to order, classical shapes with a contemporary twist, clean lines and spotless finish.
