Seeking the perfect Christmas Gift?

The Guild Shop & Gallery is just the place for relaxed Christmas shopping with the work of over thirty designer makers displayed in the north wing of historic Southover Grange and with a door leading to the adjacent, delightful Southover Gardens.

Come to see unique work including stunning ceramics, creative embroidery, bespoke furniture, glittering glass, contemporary jewellery, unusual metalwork, original prints, pewter Christmas decorations, patchwork quilts and cushions, smocked children’s clothes, turned wood bowls, useful woodwork plus a variety of greetings cards.

You will find a friendly welcome with a member of the Guild on duty ready to help and to answer questions concerning any aspects of our organisation.

The shop is just a short walk from Lewes railway station with metered car parking on the road (free on Sundays) and a public car park at the station.

The shop is open every day (except Christmas Day) from 10am – 5pm.

The Sussex Guild Contemporary Craft Show

10.00am – 5.00pm

To see the very best of designer crafts in Sussex visit our next event in the exciting spaces of Midhurst Rother College, visitors will find a spectacular variety of work by fifty-nine designer makers showing their unique crafts and making this our biggest show ever! Come to see stunning examples of ceramics, furniture, glass, jewellery, knitwear, leather, printmaking, stone carving, textiles and woodwork. Your admission ticket of £3.00 (children free) allows you to return throughout the two days.

The hallmark of the Guild remains the same: skill, imagination, and quality. We know our work will not disappoint.

Meet the makers, discuss how things are made and perhaps commission an individual piece. With a café serving light refreshments and free parking, this is just the place for relaxed Christmas shopping in a friendly atmosphere. 


Rosi Robinson Oxmarket Exhibition

In October batik artist Rosi Robinson is having an exhibition in the Wilson Gallery at the Oxmarket Centre, just off East Street, Chichester.

Dates: 13th – 25th October.

Tues – Sunday 10 -5pm.
